It’s especially easy on kids and anyone with a sensitive gag reflex — you simply sit back while a small wand takes a series of quick images, and there’s no mess to rinse out afterward.
From that scan, we can do more than just plan your treatment — we can show it to you. The iTero’s outcome simulator gives you a preview of what your smile could look like after treatment, so you can see the destination before you take the first step. That same scan also feeds directly into precise, custom-fit Invisalign trays, meaning less back-and-forth and fewer adjustment visits. It’s one of the simplest ways technology has made treatment faster, easier, and a lot more pleasant than the old way.
CBCT
Some things are easier to treat right when we can see the whole picture — teeth, jaws, roots, and airway, all in one image. Our CBCT (Cone Beam CT) scanner gives us that full 3D view in a single scan, using a very low dose of radiation — far lower than a traditional hospital CT scan, and safe for patients of all ages, including younger kids who need close monitoring of how their jaw is developing.
That complete picture means we can plan treatment with more precision from the very first visit, rather than piecing things together from flat, two-dimensional X-rays. It also helps us catch issues early — impacted teeth, jaw irregularities, or airway concerns — before they turn into bigger, more complicated problems down the road.
